Who is SafeManagers™ for?

Anyone who manages people or work and needs a practical grounding in managing health and safety.

How long is the course?

Two days, delivered face to face in a classroom.

What does it cover?

Eight modules, including the role of safety in business, legal frameworks, roles and responsibilities, and hazards and risk.

How is it taught?

Every module follows one fictional business, Meridian Manufacturing & Distribution Ltd, so you apply what you learn to a realistic workplace as the course builds. You’ll work through card sorts, games and video, and use Hazard Spotter Cards to look at tasks in terms of Task, Environment, People and System.

How am I assessed?

Through a written piece where you apply what you’ve learned to a real-life scenario. This is submitted in your own time right after the taught session. There’s no multiple-choice exam or premises rquired to do your own risk assessment.

What happens if I don’t pass first time?

You can resubmit your assessment once. If the resubmission doesn’t pass either, you will need to retake the course.

What do I get when I pass?

A digital certificate is included in your course fee. Your Training Partner may also choose to provide a printed copy.
